The Free Christian Church Of Australia was founded on 22nd of October 2016 by Bishop Ian Bridge, and formally Registered on 19th May 2017.
The Free Christian Church Of Australia is founded on the unchangeable belief that God’s Written Word, the Holy Bible, Inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the Absolute Truth, Foundation, and Arbitrator of all that the Church believes and teaches.
Through prayerful reading of the Holy Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as the Eternal Living Word of God.
The Holy Gospel of St John begins:
“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God”
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Foundation and Focus of all Faith and Worship of God. In the Holy Gospel of St John, Chapter 14, Verse 6, The Lord Jesus Christ declares:
“I am the Way and the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father, but by me”
Faith in God's Holy Word, the Lord Jesus, clothes believers, from all ages of history, in the Perfect Righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and guarantees them Salvation from Judgement and Punishment, on the coming Great Day of God's Judgment, when all mankind will be judged on their faith in, and obedience to, God's Holy Word.
This is the Solemn Promise Of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Church’s Life and Mission. Every outreach, ministry, and activity must focus on, and relate back, to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The first and last verses of the much loved hymn "When I survey the Wondrous Cross" beautifully sum up how we, as God's People, ought to respond to the Love of God, and what our gratitude to Him should be for the Gift of the Holy Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ:
"When I survey the Wondrous Cross on which the Prince of Glory died,
my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride."
"Were the whole realm of Nature mine, that were an offering far too small,
Love so Amazing, so Divine, demands my life, my soul, my all."

Also, as the last line of the chorus, of another well known, and much loved hymn, joyfully declares:
"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, All other ground is Sinking Sand,
All other ground is Sinking Sand."

Bishop Ian’s Trinity Prayer of Praise
“Praise to you Heavenly Father, Maker and Ruler of all Creation.
Praise to Your Blessed, Beloved, and only Begotten Son, Jesus our Saviour.
Praise to Your Mighty Holy Spirit, Who takes of the Things of Jesus, and shows them unto us, and comforts us, until Jesus Comes Again.
Praise to You Blessed and Holy Trinity, Three Persons, One God,
As it was in the Beginning, is Now, and Ever shall be, World without end. Amen.”

About Us
The Free Christian Church of Australia was founded on 22nd October 2016 by Bishop Ian Bridge.
Bishop Ian studied at Moore Theological College Sydney during the early 1970's and ministered in the Anglican Church until he resigned in 1985.
At that time he founded the Free Christian Ministry Of Australia as an independent Christian outreach and Bible Education Ministry.
Bishop Ian used the tools of the day, such as printed, and photocopied Bible Tracts, and pamphlets, in his Ministry.
Bishop Ian also proclaimed the Holy Gospel, as a guest preacher, and assisted with the administration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion at many Church Services, at the request of fellow Christian Ministers.
Also, many times, Bishop Ian conducted Church Services, including the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, when the regular Minister was absent on leave, or unable to perform his duties because of illness.
Ian was ordained a Bishop on 16th October 2016, by the Reformed Independent Bishop of Tennessee, to enable Bishop Ian to establish a new, and unique, Christian Church to proclaim the Holy Gospel.
On 22 October 2016 Bishop Ian founded the Free Christian Church Of Australia.
The Free Christian Ministry Of Australia was incorporated into the Free Christian Church Of Australia.
The Free Christian Church Of Australia was formally registered on 19th May 2017.
The Mission of the Free Christian Church Of Australia is to proclaim the Holy Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, without any cost to, or donations from, any member, or other persons.
Bishop Ian personally bears all costs associated with the Ministry of the the Free Christian Church of Australia.
Bishop Ian regards the Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, as God's inspired, absolute, infallible and Final Word to the world.
The Holy Bible of the reformed tradition is comprised of sixty six individual books, which are divided into two separate collections, The Old Testament and The New Testament.
The Old Testament records, in it’s opening Book of Genesis Chapter 1, God’s creation of the world and mankind,
Genesis Chapter 3, records the entry of sin into the the Garden of Eden and the punishment of Adam and Eve:
3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Genesis Chapter 3, Verses 14-16 the records the Solemn Promise of God to provide Salvation to Mankind through the One True Man: The Lord Jesus Christ:
14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
16 To the woman he said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”
God’s Holy Promise of Salvation, and final defeat of Satan was the, as yet in the future, Holy Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Genesis Chapter 6, records the flood of Noah’s time, to cleanse the world of the evil offspring of Satan's fallen angels known as the Nephilim, and their earthly followers. These beings, and their followers, had filled the earth with wickedness.
The Old Testament also records God's choosing of Abram (later renamed Abraham in Genesis 17:5), and his tribe, to be His own people.
Geneses Chapter 15, Verse 6 declares that Abraham’s belief of God’s Word was credited to him as Righteousness:
4 Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” 5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
This is the first example of belief in God’s Holy Word that is equated with Righteousness in God’s sight.
St Paul restates this Great Holy Truth in Romans Chapter 4, Verse 6.
A person’s belief in the Holy Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is regarded by God as Holy Righteousness.
Faith in the Holy Gospel of The Lord Jesus is most pleasing to God.
God promised Abraham that his people would become a great nation, and that all the peoples of the earth would be blessed through him (Genesis 17:7).
The remaining books of the Old Testament detail God’s historical interaction with His chosen people (Israel), in different ages.
This historical narrative includes the bondage of Israel in Egypt, and their deliverance by God, through Moses, and later Moses' reception of God's Law on Mount Sinai.
A recurring theme in the Old Testament is God’s raising-up of specially chosen leaders, prophets, and kings, at different times, to deliver His people from the problems that beset them in that particular period.
Overarching all of God’s dealings with His people, and implicit in His promise to Abraham, and later generations, is that He would one day send His people the Holy Messiah (Mighty Deliverer) to save them eternally from their earthly enemies, and their great spiritual enemies, Satan, sin, and death.
The great Prophets of the Old Testament, such as Isaiah and Jeremiah, reminded the nation of Israel of God's Promise to them, as descendants of Abraham, and foretold the coming of the Messiah.
The Great Messiah is God’s own Son, The Lord Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament The Lord Jesus Christ is revealed as the Eternal Son of God and the Saviour of God's people through His Mighty Work of Redemption on the Cross and His Glorious Resurrection and Ascension to the Right Hand of God the Father, in Heaven.
The Lord Jesus’ work of Redemption on the Cross, together with His Glorious Resurrection from the dead, and Ascension to Heaven, is known as the Holy Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
St Luke the Evangelist, in The Book of the Acts of the Apostles Chapter 4, Verse 12 declares:
"Nor is there is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
The great Reformation scholar, Martin Luther, called the Holy Gospel "Justification by Faith."
The pouring out (coming) of God’s Mighty Holy Spirit, as recorded in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2, is the Risen Lord Jesus’ Great Gift to His Faithful Believers.
The first four books of the New Testament are The Holy Gospels of St Matthew, St Mark, St Luke and St John. These books are called Holy Gospels because they record the Lord Jesus’ Life, Ministry, Death, and Resurrection.
The remaining Books of The New Testament, with the exception of the last Book, record the Ministry of the Lord Jesus' Disciples. These Books are The Book of the Acts of The Apostles and the Epistles (letters), written by St Paul and other Apostles, to the young Christian Churches throughout the world of the Lord Jesus' time.
The New Testament closes with the record of the Vision given by God to the Apostle John, around 96 AD, near the end of his life.
This Vision, or Revelation, from which St John's Book takes it's name, deals with the end of the world, the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the final defeat of Satan and his followers, God's Great Day of Judgement, and the Establishment of God's Eternal Kingdom.
The Lord Jesus promised His Disciples that He would physically return to earth (the Second Coming) on a future day, appointed by God, but unknown to any person.
At His Second Coming The Lord Jesus will judge all people, in perfect fairness, according to their belief in, and response to, God's Holy Word, and the Holy Gospel.
On the Great Day of Judgement all those who have rejected God by not believing His Holy Word and Promises in both the Old and New Testament eras, thereby rejecting God and His only Begotten, Holy and Beloved Son, the Lord Jesus, will be eternally damned in what the Holy Bible calls "The Lake Of Fire."
Those who have faithfully believed, like Abraham, God’s Holy Word throughout all ages will be Graciously Judged as Righteous, having been clothed in the Holy Righteousness of the Lord Jesus. This Precious and Holy Gift was secured for believing men and women, of all ages of history, by The Lord Jesus’ Precious Blood Shed on the Cross of Calvary.
With those who have believed the Holy Gospel, after the coming of the Lord Jesus, with us who now believe, together with believers from all the ages yet to come will be revealed as God’s Adopted Children.
We will all live forever with the Lord Jesus Christ, in God’s Eternal Kingdom where there is no death, pain, sadness, or suffering, only Joyous Eternal Life, with Wonders never before imagined by human minds.

“On the Day of Judgment the earth as we know it will pass away to make way for a new creation, and the Lord Jesus will usher in His Eternal Kingdom. Of this Kingdom the Lord Jesus said :
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him” (I Corinthians 2:9)
Bishop Ian believes that until that day it is the Church’s duty is to teach nothing but:
”Jesus Christ and Him Crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2)
”
